Referrals

The majority of cases seen at the Veterinary Surgical Center are referred to us by a primary care veterinarian. Optimal patient care requires communication between the client, veterinary specialist, and referring veterinarian regarding the patient's medical history, previous therapeutic regimens, and specific medications.

Upon completion of the consultation, or upon recovery from surgery, your referring veterinarian will be contacted by telephone and provided with a written report regarding the management of the patient. Maintaining an ongoing association with your pet's primary health care provider is vital to ensure the continuing good health of your pet.
